IESE is strengthening its presence in the fast-growing country of Brazil with the establishment of the Executive MBA Programme. The programme will be offered in the Brazilian capital, Brasília, starting in August 2012, in collaboration with ISE, the school’s associated business school in the country.

IESE has led programmes in Brazil for more than a decade. In keeping with the school’s focus and mission, the programs provide a global perspective of management and feature a highly international faculty, which reflects more than 50 nationalities. Programmes also offer a general management point of view and – above all – a focus on participants’ personal and professional growth.

“For IESE, helping develop other schools in Latin America has always been, in addition to a strategy, a vocation,” says Professor José Ramón Pin, an expert in the region. “Brazil cannot be excluded from this vocation. Personally and given the dynamics of the Brazilian economy, I hope that the number of programs we offer in Brazil equals that of Barcelona and Brazil. The launch of the Executive MBA in 2012 underscores IESE’s long-term commitment to growing in this major emerging Latin American economy.”
